Sweet Adventure: An ode to 1966 surfer classic The Endless Summer narrated by Selema Masekela

A surf film narrated by Hugh Masekela's son, Selema, also known as Sal Masekela, will have an African premiere at the Labia Theatre in Cape Town. 

The screening of Sweet Adventure – directed by Emmy Award-winning South African filmmaker Peter Hamblin – will take place at the Labia Theatre. The chosen location will close a circle that has lasted since 1966 when the father of South African surfing, John Whitmore, showed The Endless Summer at the theatre for the first time in Africa.
