His seminal 1966 surf documentary Endless Summer set the stage for just about every action sports flick to follow. It contained a simple concept – follow two surfers around the world in the hunt for the perfect wave. The film became a hit, earned a cult following, and became the most successful surf film of all time. Following in his footsteps, Bruce’s son Dana, an award-winning documentary filmmaker of his own right, embarked on a project honoring his late father.
